Namaste!

I am a Perth based Yoga instructor (RYT 250+) and practitioner registered with YOGA AUSTRALIA and taught in the tradition of Svastha Yoga of Guruji Tirumalai Krishnamacharya.

In 2017, I completed a comprehensive Svastha Yoga teacher training program on achieving personal wellbeing through Yoga and Ayurveda by Ganesh and Nitya Mohan at Svastha Singapore. I am consistently upgrading my knowledge and improving my practice through ongoing training, classes, and workshops.

Back in 2011, my personal Yoga journey began with Iyengar Yoga and a 3 month pre-teacher training, driven by a desire to tackle chronic pain and enhance my overall wellbeing. Little did I know that Yoga would transform into one of my greatest passions, guiding me across the globe for extensive learning and exploration.

After moving to Perth in late 2017, I continued my journey of learning and sharing my Svastha Yoga practice with a strong focus on gently breathing, lengthening, and strengthening.

Although gentle Yoga classes might appear deceptively simple, they are far from easy; instead, they serve as a catalyst to reestablish a profound connection with one’s body, breath, and mind.

Deliberately kept small, my Yoga classes are designed to facilitate personalized exercise adaptations for each individual’s requirements, embracing our unique abilities and fostering a wholly inclusive environment.

It’s truly heartening to see many of my students pleasantly surprised by the swift improvements they achieve in their range of motion, strength, and reconnection with their breath. This journey often brings about a sense of tranquillity and positivity that I’m grateful to witness.

Beyond my career and charity work, I practice and teach Martial Arts, Yoga, and Visual Arts to attain balance and harmony. And being walked by our rescue dog. 🙂
